The Sport Select Basketball System has been designed to meet the needs of residential basketball players. This unit features a 4" square 11 ga. steel post, which is the heaviest of its kind in the industry. The single-piece post design guards against the possibility that rust will deteriorate joints, as happens with models made from multiple components. The post is buried 36" below the playing surface, and you can add an optional ground sleeve or a bolt-down ground anchor to your package to make it removable.

This is a fixed goal system but you do have the option of repositioning the arm to another height on the post. All you need to do is loosen the heavy-duty U bolts and reposition the arm and reattach it. Once the arm is in place, the post to backboard extension distance is 24". For added safety, you can add all-weather post padding or backboard padding.

The goal is "direct mounted" to eliminate the possibility of the backboard breaking during play.
