The sleeve is buried deep below the concrete playing surface. Depending on the model you choose, it is sunk to either 36" below ground level. You can level the post perfectly as part of the installation process, and the post is positioned right inside the ground sleeve. Once you have the post in position, eight tension bolts are used to secure it firmly in place.
