TopHoops.com Shipping Policy
Shipping is free within the continental United States on all items with a price shown, except that (i) a $9.99 shipping charge will be added to orders under $200 and (ii) wall padding requires a minimum order of four pads. For orders to be delivered outside the continental United States, please call or email us for a shipping quote. On US orders, our estimated delivery time is 5-7 business days for most products. PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING TYPICALLY IS TO CURBSIDE, SO YOU WILL NEED TO ARRANGE TO TRANSPORT THE ITEM TO THE LOCATION WHERE YOU WANT TO STORE OR INSTALL IT.
The delivery driver is not required to assist with unloading of the basketball goal from the truck. Many of our institutional inground hoops, as well as most of our portable hoops, are quite heavy. The larger Gared portables will require a loading dock or a rollback wrecker for unloading. We will let you know if that is the case. For other hoops, such as the Gooseneck ingrounds, the First Team Storm, Thunder and Fury, and some of the other larger portables, you will require a loading dock, a forklift or, at a minimum, at least four people to help get the hoop of the truck. Smaller portables may require at least two other people. Inside delivery, two-man delivery or other specialized delivery services may available at additional cost - please call us in advance of placing your order. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding your ability to take delivery.
Shipping arrival is typically 1-2 weeks, but wall pads and bleachers could take a little longer, and large portable systems and scoreboards up to 4 weeks, because they are built to order.
Upon receipt of your shipment, please check ALL contents of the delivery for possible damage BEFORE signing off on it with the shipping company. If a certain item is delivered damaged, REFUSE SHIPMENT of that item, make proper notation with the freight company at that time, and call us immediately. Although items being damaged during transit is rare, it is extremely important that you check for possible damage in order to secure proper settlement from the carrier.
If merchandise is damaged in transit it is the customer’s responsibility to properly notate the damage on the freight bill at the time of receipt in order to secure proper settlement from the carrier. TopHoops.com is not responsible for goods damaged in transit, and if you do not notate damage at the time of delivery, we may not be able to pursue a claim with the shipping company.
