The Thunder Supreme is a portable basketball system that is made for institutional settings, such as churches, recreation centers, or school gymnasiums. It is strong enough to last for a number of years. The height can be set to any level between 10' and 6'6" by turning the crank handle at the back of the post. When you have the rim height set at the 10' level, the post to backboard extension is 48". This feature means that the base of the Thunder Supreme sits far enough back from the court so that it doesn't interfere with play. As an added safety feature, the base of the unit has heavy foam padding. Free base pad lettering is available on request.
When you want to move the Thunder Supreme, you need to use the release crank to unlock the brakes on the six roller wheels located in its base. The extension arm folds down, allowing you to move the Thunder Supreme through standard double-sized doors for storage.
The Thunder Supreme can stand up to the punishment that multiple basketball teams can mete out. The adjustable height feature means that it can be used by players of all ages. The Thunder Supreme comes with a 42" x 72" acrylic backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. Since the goal is direct mounted, the backboard won't break if a player hangs off the rim.
