This model is made with the residential basketball player in mind. It is very well-made, as you can see from its sturdy 4" square pole. It is built to stand up to the weather, even after being exposed to the elements for several years. The pounding that even the most enthusiastic basketball players can mete out is no match for the GoalSetter Contender.

The rim height on the GoalSetter Contender can be adjusted to fit your players' needs. Set it to the level you want from 6' right up to the full regulation height of 10'. As the players grow up and increase their skill level, you can set the rim height further up to reflect this fact. The Contender comes with a 36" x 54" glass backboard that is a full 3/8" thick. This product also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, so that you can buy it with confidence.

The GoalSetter Contender will perform well over a number of years. You have the flexibility to adjust the rim height to the level you want. Change the rim height to reflect the age of the players. With its 4" square pole and 36" x 54" glass backboard, you are getting a quality product. The pole to backboard extension for this product is a full 30".
