The RuffNeck Supreme model is a very durable choice when you are looking for a basketball system suitable for a playground. Its post is constructed from 4.5" O.D. galvanized schedule 40 tubing. This rust-resistant product means that the RuffNeck Supreme will continue to perform well for several years and through many different kinds of weather. The direct rim mount design means that it can be mounted through the backboard of the unit and placed straight into the post. As a direct result, this design eliminates backboard stress.

Two tubular braces fixed to the neck of the post provide an increased amount of support to the backboard. The "nose-cone" backboard mounting design makes installing the backboard simple. When the unit is installed, the post is buried 48" below the playing surface. This gives the basketball system increased stability.

The RuffNeck Supreme provides the level of durability that is needed for playground equipment. It will stand up to constant use by many basketball players. The weather won't affect this unit's performance, since it is made from rust-resistant materials. The RuffNeck Supreme comes with a 42" x 72" acrylic backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. The post to backboard extension distance is 48" when the unit is fully assembled. The goal itself is "direct mounted," which eliminates the problem of backboard stress.
