The Legend Jr. Select is appropriate for the home basketball court or a playground. This model has a 5" square, 3/16" steel post that is built to last. The post is fashioned from one piece of metal to avoid the problems caused when rust develops on joints. The post is buried a full 42" below the playing surface, so you know it will be sturdy once it is in position. The post is set back 52" for safety reasons.
The Legend Jr. is considered a fixed height basketball system. Choose the location on the post where you want to position the arm and fasten it securely in place using six, high-tensile 5/8" bolts. The post to backboard extension is 52". Add backboard or all-weather post padding as an extra safety precaution, if desired.
A dual package is offered with the Legend Jr. Select. An additional rim, backboard, and extension arm can be added so that the playing surface can be the maximum amount of use.
