The HydroSport Select has the strength and sturdiness you need when you are looking for a poolside basketball system. This unit includes a 4" x 4" stainless steel post, which is powder coated to give you years of use. The HydroSport Select is firmly secured to the pool deck with four stainless steel anchor bolts. A cover is provided with this package to protect them. In addition, the HydroSport Select package includes an ABS plastic anchor cover. The steel extension arm is also powder coated and attaches securely to the post with U-bolts.
Even though the HydroSport Select is considered to be a fixed height system, you can loosen the U-bolts and reattach the extension arm to a different height along the post if you wish. A welded cap helps to keep moisture from entering the post. The goal has been treated with a special zinc undercoating to keep it rust-free. For safety, you can add backboard padding to the HydroSport Select.
The HydroSport Select is a very durable unit that will last for years. Being in a damp atmosphere is not a problem. The HydroSport Select comes equipped with a 36" x 60" acrylic backboard and a heavy duty flex goal. Since the goal is "direct mounted," the possibility of breakage when players hang off the rim is eliminated.
