This gusset pad sewn into a pyramid shape to create a close-fitting shape to hug the base of the basketball pole without slipping off or buckling. Its 2" thick foam pad is contained in a sewn vinyl cover and will stand up well in all weather conditions. The demands of multiple basketball players are no match for this product. Velcro not only keeps the pad in place one you place it into position, but it also gives you the flexibility to remove it very easily if you need to access the bolts at the base of the basketball pole. Players are free to focus on their game, without having to worry about injuring themselves if they happen to get too close to the base of the basketball pole and the hardware that is used to hold it in place.
